Getting its start back in the early 2000's, Amberly was one of the first Planned Urban Development (PUD) master plan communities in the area. The community's 124 homes were built by KB Homes starting around 2005, with the development being completed by 2007. Homes here range in size from 1,600 to 2,400 sq. ft with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Some optional features that buyers could select when building new were hardwood floors on the main floor, concrete patio, and a covered patio.

Arlington Park at Amberly is a small community of 156 single family homes located on the northeast corner of Yates Store Road and Carpenter Fire Station Road in West Cary.
Homes in Arlington Park were built by KB Homes starting in 2006 and completed in 2007. Ranging in size from 1900 sq ft to 3250 sq ft, you'll find floor plans with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms up to 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.

Carolina Preserve at Amberly
Carolina Preserve is a highly popular Active Adult Community located off of the southwest corner of O'Kelly Chapel Road and Yates Store Road in West Cary. Residency here is restricted in that every home must have at least one full-time resident (does not have to have an ownership interest in the home) who is at least 55 years of age. No permanent residents under the age of 19 are allowed, although children may visit for up to 90 days per year.
This mostly single-family home community was built by Pulte homes beginning in 2005 with completion in 2013. There are a total of 1360 homes of which 186 are townhomes located along the eastern most section of the community.
